LET ME DANCE
Short movie by SisterArt
LET ME DANCE is a short movie staging women dancing seemingly free. However, they will choose to paralyse a part of their body, such as a hand blocking their throat or their back. These are symbols of either restrictive beliefs which prevent, repress and create tensions between body and freedom, either the way women endure intimately sexist prejudices. Besides those pressures and daily life harassment at home, at work, in the street, they danse. The message is one of hope, women never give up as well as to stop accepting sexism as a fate.
